PJV Quickie: Jill Shalvis’ Lucky Harbor series is one I enjoy returning to again and again: I know I’m going to get well-written characters, engaging storylines, and sweet romance with just the right amount of heat. Once in a Lifetime delivers on all fronts and is one of my favorites in the series so far. Review: Aubrey Wellington is having a bad day. Not only is her ex-boss/ex-lover featuring her in his scandalous tell-all book, but she’s just had an accidental run- […]

Everyone wants more followers on their blog. It is nothing new, you can find articles upon articles on how to do this. There are some tried and true methods, but there are some that are going to be unique to your blog. You have to understand your target market and where they are hiding. Then you have to target those readers and offer them quality content to lure them in. It is not an easy task…but I think you might be up for it. Social Media When I see that a blogger or author is not on t […]

Books Reviewed This Year
We have reviewed 79/200 books so far this year.
PJV Quickie: If you are looking for a quick hot read, you can’t go wrong with a Harlequin Blaze book, they are always tightly written, quick romances, with great HEAs. Author Tawny Weber’s UNIFORMLY HOT series are no different. Weber’s books are always sexy and romantic with just enough angst to get your heart pumping. There were a few issues, mainly originality, but A SEAL’S SALVATION was full of sexy-time, romance and small-town angst. Enjoy. Review: Genna and Brody ar […]
PJV Quickie: I had so much fun reading Neanderthal Seeks Human – Janie is so full of self-doubt and awkward and I totally identified with her character. I spent a good portion of the book racing ahead to see what happens next, then forcing myself to go back and actually read the page – for me, that’s a sure sign of a great read. Review: Janie Morris is a number cruncher/architect who works at an unfulfilling accounting job. She discovers her boyfriend is cheating on her and […]
PJV Quickie: The Lie Spinners was a fantastic sequel that has stuck with me. I read it several weeks ago and I still want to read more! The plot is fast moving, full of twists and turns, and there were some epic close calls and scary moments to boot. The ending left me waiting eagerly for the next book. Which needs to come out, like, right NOW! To read my review on book one THE DECEPTION DANCE go HERE! I want to hug this book. I want to hug it so badly, but hugging a kindle is kind of awkward, o […]
