The blog is a promotion/review spot for books, movies and anything else that might be of interest to this generation that is obsessed with the FANGED FURRED & WINGY. The focus is BOOKS, specifically ones in the Urban Fantasy, Paranormal Romance, YA Paranomal, Fantasy and Science Fiction genres.

There are several features on Parajunkee’s View

Desperately Wanting Wednesday is derived from Breaking the Spines ‘Waiting on Wednesday’ meme. But, unlike WOWs, Desperately Wanting Wednesday is not only for releases that I’m waiting on, it’s also for released novels that I just haven’t purchased yet, or might be sitting on my shelf that I want to read, but just haven’t gotten there yet. DWWs are on Wednesday, published at 7am and there is usually a question asked for the meme, but it is not mandatory to answer to participate.
Book Blogging 101 is Parajunkee’s View blogging tips and controversial topics discussion venue.  #BB101 can be anything from HTML tips and tricks to how to ask publishers for an ARC. #BB101 is posted every Thursday morning.
The Feature & Follow Blog Hop is hosted on Thursday Nights and is a way for blogs to gain new followers. The Hope starts at 9pm CST every Thursday Night and is hosted by Parajunkee’s View & AlisonCanRead.com

At midnight the Social Hop starts with the addition of Twitter & Facebook pages to the mix.  

Romancing the Weekends is Parajunkee’s View way of integrating “straight-up” romance into it’s repertoire. Patti, is our Romance Junkee and her reviews are usually of Contemporary Romance novels. Visit Patti every Saturday if you want to de-vamp your romance.

Parajunkee who is otherwise known as Rachel in the real world is the creator of Parajunkee’s View and it’s owner. The blog was started as an outlet for her obsession with books and the things that go bump in the night. Rachel is also a designer and does all of the design work on this blog and also on a few other blogs around the bloggyverse.

Rachel is/has been obsessed with all things paranormal since her childhood. Her first book obsessions was Grimm’s Fairy Tales which were read to her over and over again as a child. Later upon maturing the tween years were filled with Christopher Pike and RL Stine – which then led to Stephen King. She’s never looked back since.

Patti @lovesFABromance is an avid book reader. She has a full-time job, a husband and three kids — books are her getaway! She always has a book with her — paper or Kindle, and if she has some downtime that’s where you’ll find her: reading! Patti is the owner of the blog ‘Caught in a FAB Romance’ and is the Romance guru on Parajunkee’s View.

Rachel, whom you might know as Parajunkee, is the blog owner of parajunkee.com and the design blog parajunkee.net. Rachel has been blogging for close to four years, designing / web programming for over twelve, but her real love, reading, has been her favorite hobby since childhood.
