Feature & Follow #126

Gain New Blog FollowersWelcome to the Feature & Follow

Increase Blog Followers, gain Book Blog Followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature & Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!

How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, (using the linky tools — keep scrolling!) then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them “hi” in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!

What sets this Hop apart from others, is our Feature. Each week we will showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Who is our Feature today? Find out below. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow our Features and you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee & Alison Can Read) as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your #FF post. A lot of blogs are transitioning to WordPress in which they do not have the luxury of GFC, so an RSS subscription is appreciated or if you choose an email subscription. If you don’t have GFC please state in your post how you would like to be followed.

All features are chosen randomly to be the feature. They are not chosen by content or name.

Our Feature is Morgan @ Writer’s Block

1. When did you start blogging?
A: I started blogging in September 2012.

2. What is your favorite part of Book Blogging?
A: This is a tough one. I have so many favorite things about it: getting new followers, having people critique my writing, and getting new book recs! I am always in need of something new and exciting to read!

3. What is your favorite book(s)?
A: I have many: My SIster’s Keeper, A Time for Dancing, Tuesdays with Morrie, The Burn Journals, and a Child called “It”.

4. What has been the best thing that’s happened to you because of book blogging?
A: I’ve met lots of great new “friends”, and I’ve gotten a lot of great feedback on my writing. Of course being a Feature totally tops my list! ;)

Q: Activity! Who do you want to be? If you could choose any character from a book. What do you think that character looks like and what do you have in common?

I want to be HermioneI think I want to be Hermione Granger. Take that – wands at the ready!! I love the Harry Potter world so I think I would enjoy being her. I’m not hot for Ron though, but things can’t be perfect…

Wouldn’t being able to wield a wand be the coolest?

Then living in a crazy wizarding world? Fabulous.

  21. I haven’t participated for a LONG time, but this is a neat question.

As to a character I would like to be….hmmmm…let me think.

I actually think I would like to be Scarlet O’Hara. I love that time period and would have loved to live on a Southern Plantation.

I don’t think I would have been as evil and wicked as she is, though. :) I also don’t think I actually have anything in common with her personality wise, but I do share her love of Tara. :) :)
