Feature & Follow #114

Feature & Follow #114

Welcome to the Feature & Follow

Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature & Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!

How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, (using the linky tools — keep scrolling!) then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them “hi” in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!

What sets this Hop apart from others, is our Feature. Each week we will showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Who is our Feature today? Find out below. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow our Features and you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee & Alison Can Read) as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your #FF post. A lot of blogs are transitioning to WordPress in which they do not have the luxury of GFC, so an RSS subscription is appreciated or if you choose an email subscription. If you don’t have GFC please state in your post how you would like to be followed.

All features are chosen randomly to be the feature. They are not chosen by content or name.

  1. Ha ha! I haven’t read 50 shades of Christian Grey – or whatever, yet. I can’t decide if I really want to. So many mixed reviews! I’m so confused ;)

    Stopping by with My FF!

  2. LOL. You and I must think alike. This was my answer, too, and I think that happened once before, didn’t it? That we put pretty much the same thing in answer to a FF? I don’t know. I’ve done that before with some other blogger but I don’t remember who it was. :D Anyway, totally with you on this answer!

  3. All the hype 50 Shades scares me. I think I will most certainly hate it. We’ll see…maybe someday I will brave the world of sexual situations with tampons. Yeah, maybe not.

  11. This is my first Feature & Follow! I am excited to finally join the FF club : ) My blog is entry #63 on the linky.

  12. It must be just me then, I like 50 shades, but it was my first introduction to the Erotica genre. It was a bit repetitive, but I liked it.

  13. LOL 50 Shades of whatevs :) I have to say I agree as well… Wanna come over for some more posts? Here’s my FF post for this week.

  14. This is my first Feature and Follow Friday at the blog I co-run with my sister. It’s brand new, so definitely visit us and say hi! I’m at The Sisters’ Tale @ #71.

Also, I laughed out loud at your answer. I refuse to read 50 Shades and from what I’ve heard of it, it’s just not for me.

  15. I agree! Fifty Shades was a little ‘meh’ for me..

  20. I thought I left you a comment this morning, but apparantly, I didn’t. I agree with you 100% about 50 Sades of Whatevs! I have quite a few friends who really liked it, and I’m like : hey, there’s so much good erotica out there if you’re interested :D
    Have a fabulous weekend!
Here’s my FF post for this week.

  21. I agree about 50 Shades of whatevs! I hope this isn’t my third comment, but it is the 3rd time I try… I can’t see my comment when I refresh, though.
Here’s my FF post for this week.
    I hope you’ll have a fabulous weekend!

  22. I agree with you. Fifty Shades of Grey was my pick too.

  23. I’ve stayed away from these books because I heard right away that the writing/plot was terrible.
Also, I was amused by your “three questions” in your sidebar… and chose to strongly approve “fracking”… but only in the Battlestar Galactica sense. XD

  24. New to FF :)

I did like Fifty but, I agree that it gets too much hype!

    Alex :) x

  25. Hi Rachel, hoppin through…I can’t answer this week’s question because I usually do not read a book due to the “hype”.

    Have a great weekend!

  26. Hoppin through..I have no interest in ever reading fifty shades!

  27. Fifty Shades of S*** – totally with you on that one

    My FF here

  28. I’m going to dare to be different. The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter. That book didn’t live up to the hype. Neither did Wake by Amanda Hocking. But that’s just me.

  29. Hahaha Love your answer! I have no interest whatsoever in reading that series.

  30. The book is ok but it not all that FF. blog hop http://www.vampandstuff.com

  31. Same here with the Fifty Shades, it made my head hurt just trying to get through the first few pages.
    This is my first FF.

  32. I don’t normally go through all the blogs on this meme, just because the number of blogs on it are so overwhelming, but I really liked this week’s question. Have you thought about suggesting the participating blogs add what type of books they predominately review in their linky name? Ex. I Read Too Much (YA)..or Adult/Both/Clean/Paranormal/Literary, etc.
I just think a non blogger like myself would be more likely to go through the list that way. Just a suggestion.
