Stacking the Shelves Lonely Edition
Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by TyngaReviews.com and is a book haul post to show off everything you purchased or received for review.
I only got one book – but I did get new shelves and I yapped for four more minutes.
This will be a unique change from all the BEA Book Haul posts. LMAO…
Just because Mel lives in New Whitby, a city founded by vampires, doesn’t mean she knows any of the blood-drinking undead personally. They stay in their part of town; she says in hers. Until the day a vampire shows up at her high school. Worse yet, her best friend, Cathy, seems to be falling in love with him. It’s up to Mel to save Cathy from a mistake she might regret for all eternity!
On top of trying to help Cathy (whether she wants it or not), Mel is investigating a mysterious disappearance for another friend and discovering the attractions of a certain vampire wannabe. Combine all this with a cranky vampire cop, a number of unlikely romantic entanglements, and the occasional zombie, and soon Mel is hip-deep in an adventure that is equal parts hilarious and touching.
Acclaimed authors Justine Larbalestier and Sarah Rees Brennan team up to create a witty and poignant story of cool vampires, warm friendships, and the changes that test the bonds of love.

Yay! I couldn’t get sound on the one on YouTube yesterday so I am happy that I get to watch it today. I agree, looking at my shelf the spines are like 75% black! They need to spice things up a bit. Your shelves look fantastic, and I think Team Human looks really good. Enjoy!!

I love your new bookshelf! I need to seriously get my husband to buy me one or get off his butt and make me one lol Most of my books are sitting in moving boxes…and we’re not moving! Mine are.. 1 read shelf, 1 TBR YA, 1 TBR Adult and each individual shelf is organised by format and colors. but I try to keep authors and series grouped hehe. Anyway!

I have no system. Four Shelves for Read. Three Shelves For Hardcovers. Table full of BEA books now….LOL…I’m so unorganized….
I only organized because of the new shelves…

I love you’re new shelves and I haven’t heard of that physical book you got and I would probably just stare at my bookcase all day (Scratch that. The shelf ON my bookcase that’s only half-filled with my books) and be like “I need more books”

My shelves are in order … for now. I have my YA, historical, sci-fi and fantasy, Canadian authors, classics, romance, contemp fiction, etc. I’m sure I’ll change it again soon. Organizing my books is my favourite thing to do.
I love the red in your hair! I should get that done next … I had purple and blue in it for a while, then dyed it straight brown. Boring!

Oh how fun — I’m sometimes too lazy to organize, even though I should organize my review copies better. I tried to do that by release date…but I kept skipping some. Boring…lol, I think I might go purple next. I’m worried I’ll just fry it at some point.

I also love the red hair. I’ve done red and purple, although the purple wound up quickly fading to blue. Meh. Maybe it’ll work better with you. I think I may go back to red soon
