I doubt I ever wanted to be a mermaid, but I LOVE mermaids – every story that features them. Thank you so much for the giveaway!
Yes, I totally wanted to be a mermaid when I was little. I would practice my “Ariel” as I called it in the bathtub and splash as much water as I could out of the tub. Thanks for the fun giveaway!
I absolutely wanted to be a mermaid!!! Especially one with red hair
I definitely wanted to be a mermaid when I grew up. My chemistry teacher even called me Ariel.
At some point I probably did want to be a mermaid, since I was in love with The Little Mermaid.
Awesome giveaway Rachel! I had never known that waterproof eReader covers exist! That would be so handy for when I take the kids to the splash park in the summer. Your review yesterday got my very interested in this title and of course I love the cover! Wish I was from the US. Good luck everyone!
No, but I loved the Little Mermaid.
Thanks for the giveaway! Wrecked sounds amazing!
Thanks for a great giveaway! This book sounds fantastic!
As a kid, I went and saw Disney’s the Little Mermaid in theatres when it was first released. That kinda gives away my age, but I loved it. From that moment on, I was a mermaid!
Not really? I did like diving into the depths of the pool..and then I realized that my ears were in pain from the water pressure.

I am soo excited about this giveaway, thanks! I just adore your site!
I do believe I had a short stint of wanting to be a mermaid when I was younger.. To show my age, I believe it was brought on by Daryl Hannah in “Splash”!
i so wanted to be ariel when i was younger. and then beauty and the beast came out and of course i didn’t want to be a mermaid anymore, i had to be belle : )
I actually didn’t. I was more interested in being a ninja princess.
Of course! And I would have had a sparkly pink and purple tail, though now I’d probably go for something with a little more silver and a little less sparkle.
Are you kidding? I still wish I could be a mermaid!
I always loved to swim but can’t ever remember wanting to be a mermaid.
I don’t think I ever wanted to be a mermaid but as a kid I was obsessed with The Little Mermaid, I had the bed sheets, nightlight and posters of the characters all over my room.
Sure I wanted to be a mermaid as a child… I still do…
Not that I recall but my parents never taught me how to swim which might have something to do with it lol.
Not really! But I have always loved reading about or watching shows with mermaids in them!!!
Yes, I used to try, unsuccessfully, to swim like one. Ended up looking like an idiot.
Thanks for the giveaway
I don’t like the water much and I’ve never thought to be a mermaid.
I totally wanted to be a mermaid when I was a kid! I would sit in the bathtub and just wish and wish that I would turn into a mermaid, lol.
Hi,
Congratulations on the book. i love the cover, it’s gorgeous and it sounds like a wonderful read.
i was the 2nd child and i only had an older brother, or a younger sister to play with for several years. my sister is very girly-girl and i always wanted to play with the neighborhood boys, get your minds out of the gutter!, their tonka trucks and other games were alot more fun than a doll. i didn’ t want to be a mermaid until i grew up and saw the most gorgeous halloween costume one year and it was very exotic and expensive. i still sigh over it every time i think about it , it was just that beautiful.

I always thought it would be cool to be a mermaid and get to live underwater.
I can’t say that I ever wanted to be a mermaid when I was a child. I think I wanted to be a witch though.
I have not read a mermaid story yet, but this sounds interesting enough to make me want to try one out.
Yes, I did. Especially after seeing The Little Mermaid!
This sounds like a great story! Thanks for the chance to win! As a kid, i did want to be a mermaid. I even went swimming a time or two with my siblings and friends and we pretended to be merpeople. lol

I can honestly say that I never wanted to be a mermaid when I was a kid. I lived around the water during my childhood and the mermaid lore just didn’t resonate with me.
The Little Mermaid came out when I was in early elementary school, so I definitely went through a mermaid phase. I still like to make my legs pretend they are a fish tail when I’m swimming
No, I never wanted to be one.
I always wanted to be a werewolf, though!
I used to love Disney’s The Little Mermaid. I can’t recall if I ever fantasized about being a mermaid myself, but I do remember that being one of my favorites.
I STILL want to be a mermaid! My name fits, after all
Can’t wait to read this!!
LOL I have to admit, I did want to be a mermaid when I was a child. I lived on the ocean and spent almost all my free time at the beach and it just seemed right
Thank you for the sharing and fun giveaway opportunity.
Yes. I loved mermaids growing up, they were my favorite mythical creature.
Congratulations on the book. It sounds like a great read.
I never liked water, even though (or maybe despite) growing up across the street from the beach. So mermaids were/are never my thing. Now, however, I have a new appreciation of water. But I still don’t want to be a mermaid.
Yes, all the time. I used to swim with my friends and pretend to flap our legs like fins.

Oh yay, I won! Thank you so much!
