Welcome to the Feature & Follow
Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature & Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.
The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!
How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, (using the linky tools — keep scrolling!) then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them “hi” in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!
What sets this Hop apart from others, is our Feature. Each week we will showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Who is our Feature today? Find out below. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow our Features and you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee & Alison Can Read) as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your #FF post. A lot of blogs are transitioning to WordPress in which they do not have the luxury of GFC, so an RSS subscription is appreciated or if you choose an email subscription. If you don’t have GFC please state in your post how you would like to be followed.
All features are chosen randomly to be the feature. They are not chosen by content or name.
Our Feature – Books of Love
Actually, I started in 2010, but didn’t really start getting serious till March 2011. I was doing some guest posting originally on other blogs. I liked it so much that I decided to start one.
What is your favorite part of book blogging?
Discovering new books that I love and worlds to explore. I also like the sense of community that I’ve found. Plus I get to discuss books with others the books I love or hated.
What is your favorite book(s)?
Favorite book is hard. I would have to say Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon is one of my favorites. That book made me cry, laugh. It explored so many emotions. I also think that I love Immortals After Dark series is another one, love the Midnight Breed series by Lara Adrian. I also love the Firelight Series by Sophie Jordan……so it depends on my mood you could say….
What has been the best thing that has happened to you because of book blogging?
I would have to say making new friends has been one of the best things that has happened to me. Plus I have a sense of community that I didn’t have before I started book blogging. Not to mention discovering some great and funny talented people I’ve met. Plus not to mention learned how to be more open to literature from genres that I would have never read otherwise.
Q: You are a matchmaker — your goal, hook up two characters from two of your favorite books. Who would it be? How do you think it would go?
I’m having an Anti Anita Blake week, courtesy of another, authors-should-stay-off-twitter-while-drinking moment. Therefor let’s hook up Anita Blake with Ian from the Night Huntress series and see who wins–I’m always referencing Frost’s series aren’t I?? Oh well, it rocks. I bet you he could make her monogamous, or they might kill each other. Either way is a score for me.

To join the fun and make new book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:
- (Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts {Parajunkee & Alison Can Read}
- (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers
- Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
- Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say “hi” in your comments and that they are now following you.
- If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn’t have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed
- Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don’t just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don’t say “HI”
- If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love…and the followers
- If you’re new to the follow friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

I almost chose Jean-Calude to hook up with someone – anyone, really.
Here’s our FF Jamie@Addicted2Heroines:disqus
I haven’t heard of this series but I really should check it out
I think that would be a really good and interesting pair. Anita needs a strong alpha male IMO. Great pairing. I chose a werewolf and a vampire…..you know them….or should know who I pick.
Really hatin on Anita huh? LOL
*shameface* Of course I havent read those either.
Yay this is my first time participating in Feature and Follow! And that was a hard question actually! I had trouble choosing two characters lol.
FF
Again with the Anita Blake! I’m going to need to read this series
Glad you went with my question. Answers should be entertaining!
Here’s my FF!
After all these years of reading I have yet to pick up an Anita Blake book, but with your enthusiasm I think I’ll have to. Have a great weekend!
Yeah….I ditched Anita a long time ago.
I just bought a Frost book on your enthusiasm and an awesome short story by that author and I am loving it so far! I can’t wait to read more!!!
DT
from Dead Trees and Silver Screens
Sigh – Hamilton and Frost’s books are one of the main adult paranormal series that I want to read. Although I think I need to catch up on BDB first. Plus I want to read Ilona Andrews’ books.
