Welcome to the Feature & Follow
Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature & Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.
The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!
How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, (using the linky tools — keep scrolling!) then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them “hi” in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!
What sets this Hop apart from others, is our Feature. Each week we will showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Who is our Feature today? Find out below. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow our Features and you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee & Alison Can Read) as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your #FF post. A lot of blogs are transitioning to WordPress in which they do not have the luxury of GFC, so an RSS subscription is appreciated or if you choose an email subscription. If you don’t have GFC please state in your post how you would like to be followed.
Our Feature – Amy’s Book World
My name is Amy. I am from North Carolina. I have loved reading since I was a kid. My favorite genres are PNR/UF, YA but I have recently began reading contemporary romances and even a historical. I started a blog because I saw so many reviews out there but none really said what I thought. So I decided that I am going to blog about the books I read to have my thoughts out there too. Some of my favorite authors are JR Ward, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Jennifer Ashley, Lynsay Sands, Kerrelyn Sparks, Janet Evanovich, Rachel Vincent, Rachel Gibson, Kristina Douglas, Lara Adrian and the list could go on.
When I am not reading or blogging, you can usually find me hanging out with my nephews or playing with my dog, Lanie.
Q: Fight! Fight! If you could have two fictional characters battle it out (preferably from books), who would they be and who do you think would win?
I’m hooked on Vlad right now from the Night Huntress series, because I was like all fangirl up on Jeaniene Frost at RT 2012 and I didn’t win the Vlad ARC (glares evilly at Lisa if she is reading this which she probably isn’t because I don’t even think she knew I had a blog…) so…I would like to see Vlad battle it out with Bones and I think Bones would win. BUT — Vlad might give him a run for his money. And Cat has to stay out of it!
And if you don’t know who I am referring to — march to the bookstore right now and buy the book…or here click this link.
We have a new button, so update your blogs if you are used to doing this meme!

Bones is awesome! I definitely need to meet Vlad.
Happy FF!
Two books it would seem he has…funny since she didn’t want to even write about him.
I need to read all these books. *makes face*

Are you getting loud with me?!
*makes another face*
You can just add all of these to Harry Potter…

OMG Barrons and Bones I don’t know who I would want to win. Probably Barrons, but I feel like a bad person!

My Feature & Follow
This is my 1st blog hop
I’m a writer, so I usually have my nose is the laptop writing or in a book reading…look forward to meeting some new people!
I love the Night Huntress series! It is one of my favourites. A fight between Vlad and Bones would be pretty epic, seeing as they don’t always see eye to eye either. Also looking forward to Night Prince series. Vlad’s books yay!
My first ever FF.
Happy Reading!
Vlad & Bones WOW that would be an excellent match since I love them both, but Bones is my first love! Funny you chose Bones because I chose Cat & Marritt and Cat won!:)
Have a wonderful weekend girlie!;)
Hmm I am not familiar with those characters but we all love a showdown, so it’s all good! =D
Here’s my FF

I’m going to have to march to my bookstore and buy the series. Which is stupid because I saw her at RT and was thinking, I’m pretty sure I want to read that. I was kind of overwhelmed and still licking my wounds from being just shy of the JR Ward signing.
So now I’m definitely going to have to pick up the series so I can know who you are talking about.
Thanks for hosting! This is my first week, and I’m excited! And I love the question. Battling fictional characters is good for my soul this morning. Thanks, and I look forward to hopping (and gaining some followers)!
Oh, and here’s the link to my FF post. Forgot that in my exuberance. Duh.
I love that series. I like Bones and Vlad. Who would win though? Vlad could set Bones on fire, but Bones has been fighting for centuries and is very skilled in taking out other vampires, so you are probably right that he’d win.
I’m really excited about Vlad’s book. I entered to win an ARC too and I’m sad to say I didn’t win either.
I’m an existing follower. Thanks for hosting the Feature & Follow each week! My #FF
Hi Hon. I am ba-ack! I am psyched to read the Vlad Tepes story by Jeaniene. He has been really interesting for me for a while. A gentleman who can get down and dirty.
Ciao!
I was not able to pick a pair of characters to duke it out , I picked my two fav fantasy gals and I unleash them on the literary world. They’ll hold their own and then some! I’ve never heard of the Night Huntress series. Will have to check them out!
Here’s my FF . Happy Reading!
Happy Friday! I haven’t read either of those books. Shame Shame.
I choose Hermione and Katniss vs Bella and Beth From Halo.
I kinda feel like this is one big celebrity death match, book style!

I had never heard of either of these characters before. A good creative question. And thanks to Parajunkee for hosting this meme
