How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, (using the linky tools — keep scrolling!) then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them “hi” in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). Our Feature – Reading With ABC!
My name is Liza and I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I have been living in the US for over 15 years, since the Love of My Life joined the military. We have three wonderful boys:
A – is a teenager
B – is going to start middle school next school year
C – is going to first grade soon
Yes, my children’s names actually start with one of the first letter of the alphabet, and I will refer to them by A, B and C in my blog.
created my blog in May of 2011 to have a place to share one of biggest passions in life (besides my family and my work) READING. I have always loved reading. Yes, I was the kind of girl that read all the time, the kind to teenager that read all summer, and the kind of adult that still finds time to read and talk about it.
Lately I have re-discovered Young Adult literature and I have been reading mostly YA and following YA blogs for over a year. Since my husband went to Iraq about two years ago I found refuge in reading and I fell in love again with YA.

Best book in the last month = Patient Zero (Joe Ledger, #1) by Jonathan Maberry (Zombies!!!)
Worst book in the last month = Pure by Julianna Baggott

I enjoyed Pure…thought it was interesting, though I struggled a bit through the strange descriptions at times and odd ending. But it was still engaging enough for me anyway. Haha. Sorry that you didn’t like it!

I agree with you on Patient Zero (Joe Ledger, #1) by Jonathan Maberry . I think it should be on anyone’s TBR list who enjoys fantastic writing and world building.
Pure was a DNF for me, no matter how hard I tried to finish, I couldn’t.

I’m with you on Pure. I thought it would be something I’d really enjoy, but I couldn’t get into it at all. I gave up about 75-100 pages in. Oh well.

Ooh, Patient Zero sounds really spiffy (you can NEVER go wrong with zombies)! I’m glad you enjoyed it, Rachel! I haven’t heard a whole lot about Pure, but I may give it a shot–sorry you didn’t care for it.
