Eoduin, a beautiful young woman, is abducted by a vampyre while out with her slave Aeriel gathering flowers, and carried off to be a vampyre’s bride. Aeriel, determined to avenge her mistress, returns to the peak from which Eoduin was stolen and waits until the vampyre should return. Eventually, he comes for her and she can not kill him because of his beauty and power, and he takes her but not to be his bride.

  1. Ah! I love the Darkangel Trilogy. I haven’t read it in years, but I believe I have it somewhere on my bookshelf. I should add it to my re-read list for 2012.

  2. OMG! The Darkangel Tirlogy is SO good! Move it to the top of your list. And if you like it, you might want to try Mind of My Mind by Octavia Butler. You will love them both.

  3. Yes! Hotel Transylvania. One of my favorite vampire novels of all time, and, the Count of Saint Germain was one of the first vampire “heros”. I had such a crush on him.
