Author: Josephine Angelini
Expected publication: May 29th 2012 by HarperTeenAs the only Scion that can enter Hades at will, Helen descends to the Underworld in search of a way to overcome the Furies and end the cycle of revenge that has cursed the Scions. But she’s running out of time. Each descent weakens her both in mind and spirit. A mysterious stranger might be her only salvation, but the price may be her love for Lucas Delos.

As an unforgettable love triangle emerges, Josephine Angelini’s compelling saga becomes ever more intricate and spellbinding. The eagerly awaited sequel to the internationally bestselling Starcrossed, Dreamless delivers with a huge emotional impact that will leave readers satisfied—and longing for more.

I so want to read this & for some reason I just couldn’t get my grubby hands on this one. Then, I’m reading reviews coming out — and now I’m scared. But, I’ll still read it.

The spell-driven source of the blight isn’t the only challenge to Eugenie’s instincts. Fairy king Dorian is sacrificing everything to help, but Eugenie can’t trust the synergy drawing them back together. The uneasy truce between her and her shape shifter ex-lover Kiyo is endangered by secrets he can’t–or won’t–reveal. And as a formidable force rises to also threaten the human world, Eugenie must use her own cursed fate as a weapon–and risk the ultimate sacrifice..

The first novel took me by surprise, I actually read the book and listened to the audio book. I was highly impressed — but the wait has been endless. September, really? It’s enough to drive a girl crazy.

  2. I have one read one of the predecessors to these novels and that is Starcrossed, sadly I didn’t like it all that much :( The Vampire Queen series is high on my wishlist so I’m glad to see that you are pining for the sequel!

  3. Mandee J says:

I loved Infinite Days! I can’t wait for Stolen Nights (Vampire Queen #2)!
It would be awful if I make some some cheesy reference to the wait being infinite? Probably…so I won’t.
    You rock, Parajunkee!

  4. I was wondering if this was going to be a “play along” meme. LOL
I’ll have to see what I’m waiting for and post something next week.
    Thanks for the invite.

  5. Can’t wait to see what you think of Shadow Heir! I really need to get off my butt and read Starcrossed so I can read Dreamless, too. Great picks!
