Eric Northman is introduced in the first book in the Sookie Stackhouse series, Dead Until Dark. Eric is an enigmatic and charming vamp that at first scares Sookie and at the same time turns her on. Over 1000 years old, Eric is the Sheriff of Area Five and owns a bar called Fangtasia. Sookie becomes acquainted with Eric when she visits his bar, and from there it is a love/hate kind of relationship, which doesn’t blossom to real love until Eric, under a curse loses his memory.

Ive yet to read these…I started watching the True Blood series on HBO but stopped because I wanted to grab the books, I should them soon right along with the Harry Potter series..;D

Yes team Eric forever! Everytime I read this book there's always a post it on my forehead that says DO NOT DISTURB!!! lol. seriously! coz my husband always ask questions when I'm "in the zone". lol
DO NOT KILL ME but Alexander Skarsgård is so not Eric on my eyes. I still can't get over the fact that HBO chose him and that HBO's producer/writer of TruBlood is favoring Bill over Eric!

I've never read the series but I like the show and Eric is my favorite. I like him better with shorter hair
He is delish! I cannot wait for Dead in the Family. When I discovered this series I sacrificed food and sleep. I lost 5 pounds but the bloodshot eyes made me look like I'd been up drinking all night LOL

Eric is tied for my favorite vampire (with Bones of course!). I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Southern Vampire series and try to get everyone I know hooked on it. I think I've given away the books on my blogs 2 or 3 times now lol.

Oh, I adoooore this series, it's my favorite of the moment. I can put any book aside to start a new Sookie novel. Can't wait for the 'dead in the family', don't know how i'll live till it's released… And Eric rulezz!!
